The Whitney is recruiting for both summer fellow(s) and full-time leadership fellow. Both roles will be high-profile and give you broad museum exposure, interaction with senior museum leadership, and good learning opportunities.
Time Commitment: To Be Discussed
Compensation: To Be Discussed
Overview of Responsibilities:
The Board of Trustees will be approving the Strategic Plan in May of this year. The plan will not only yield an actionable guide for the Museum’s foreseeable future, but the process itself has been crucial in helping the organization fully realize the significant transformation and growth that it has recently undertaken, very visibly marked by its new location and building.
The HBS MBA intern would work side by side with Amy and other members of the museum’s senior leadership to help drive four primary areas of impact. These four areas include formulating a comprehensive collection strategy, developing a real estate master plan – complete with thinking about both our current building and beyond, creating a museum-wide digital strategy, and driving forward our earned revenue strategy. There will also be opportunities to work on other projects that arise, which can certainly be tailored to the intern(s) personal and professional interests.
Each of these initiatives are high-profile projects in the life of the museum and will provide access to high-impact work.
Please send a short blurb (about yourself, your interest, etc.) and your resume if you are interested in getting an introduction to Amy Roth (Chief Planning Officer, also the sponsor of our fellowship program at the Whitney) and Tyler Harris (HBS MBA 2016, current leadership fellow).
